Harvest of Art: A Celebration of Creativity, Community, and Giving Back

Updated: Sep 18

If you know me, you know how much I love this time of year. Fall has a way of bringing everyone together, and there's something magical about combining art, community, and a little bit of holiday spirit. That’s why I’m so excited to invite you to my fall art show, Harvest of Art: Celebrate and Shop, on Saturday, October 19th, from 3-6 PM at my gallery in Temecula.

This show isn’t just a chance to browse and buy some incredible artwork—it’s a way to give back. This year, 10% of all proceeds will go to Western Eagle Foundation, a local non-profit that has been a lifeline for families in the Temecula area, offering affordable food and essential items. This organization helped my family during a rough time in our lives, and I couldn’t be prouder to support them now.

I’ve been running the gallery for 11 years, and I can honestly say this community has been a huge part of that success. My gallery started as a dream to not only showcase my own work but to create a space where local artists could connect with people who love art. Over the years, it has grown into a place where art lovers and collectors can find one-of-a-kind pieces, custom commissions, and a personal experience you just can’t get anywhere else.

This upcoming show is extra special because we’re bringing in a light Halloween theme—complete with my big inflatable black dragon outside to attract some attention (you can’t miss it). If you come dressed in costume, you’ll even get 5% off your purchases!

Here’s a taste of what you can expect:

  • Original Art by Local Artists: This isn’t your typical gallery showing. Every piece in the gallery is created by local artists—people right here in our community. If there’s a piece you’ve been eyeing, now’s the time to grab it! They might not last until the show.

  • Holiday Commissions: With the holidays around the corner, I’m opening up my books for custom commissions. Whether it’s portraits, hand-painted glass ornaments, or something completely unique, I can create that perfect, personalized gift for you or your loved ones.

  • Giveaways: Be one of the first groups in the door, and you’ll snag a signed and numbered print of my work (I’ve got five to choose from!). The first five groups will also get a free poster. It’s my little thank you for being part of this event.

  • Raffle: This year’s raffle prize is a pair of $25 “Let’s Eat” gift cards, perfect for dining out at local spots. Raffle tickets are 2 for $5 or 5 for $10, and the best part is that 10% of all proceeds from the raffle will go to Western Eagle Foundation.

  • Kids' Crafting Table: If you’re bringing the family, we’ve got a little something for the kids, too. They can join in on the creative fun at our crafting table.

  • Wine, Drinks & Snacks: It wouldn’t be a gallery event without refreshments. Come enjoy some wine, drinks, and light snacks while browsing the art.

Western Eagle Foundation holds a special place in my heart. They’ve helped so many people in our community—including me—and I’m hoping to raise both awareness and funds for them through this event. Knowing that your purchases will directly contribute to helping local families is a great way to kick off the season of giving.

So come by, enjoy the art, bring the family, and help us make this Harvest of Art a success! I can’t wait to see you there.
