Of the 5 times Heather entered the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival poster contest, this was the only one that did not win. Heather is okay with that since winning causes her to lose the rights for reproduction. That's why there are posters available of this painting. Of all her entries, this one is her favorite. The figure was inspired by a Mucha painting, she just made her clothing less revealing, and put her own face with a shorter nose. She was going for that Art Nouveau style and incorporated as many "Temecula" things into it as she could. That's even her husband sitting on the bench in the background.
